Dr. Marian Amase Esiromo is a seasoned Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 13 years of experience in sexual and reproductive health, maternal care, and newborn services. Her extensive work across both public and private sectors has equipped her with a deep understanding of patient needs and healthcare delivery systems in Kenya.

She currently serves at Kenyatta National Hospital, where she specializes in high-risk pregnancy management and minimal access (laparoscopic) surgery. She manages complex referrals and operates specialty clinics, handling advanced gynecologic and obstetric cases from across the region. Dr. Esiromo is also a passionate educator, serving as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, where she mentors medical students and specialist trainees in clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Her leadership extends into healthcare quality improvement, where she heads the Quality Assurance team at KNH—driving patient-centered reforms through clinical audits and process re-engineering. She has played a key role in scaling cervical cancer screening and family planning access, including the introduction of BTL under local anesthesia at Litein Mission Hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she contributed significantly to clinical preparedness and staff training initiatives.
