First Trimester Screening (Weeks 11–13)

  1. Nuchal Translucency (NT) Ultrasound
    Measures fluid at the back of the baby’s neck—a key marker for chromosomal conditions.

  2. Maternal Blood Tests
    Detect hormone levels (PAPP-A and hCG) associated with potential abnormalities.

  3. Comprehensive Maternal Assessment
    Blood pressure, BMI, personal and family medical history to detect early risk factors.

Second Trimester Screening (Weeks 15–22)

  1. Anomaly (Morphology) Scan
    A detailed ultrasound to assess the baby’s anatomy, growth, organs, spine, limbs, and heartbeat.

  2. Quadruple Blood Marker Test (if needed)
    Evaluates four proteins/hormones in the mother’s blood to assess risk for chromosomal disorders.

  3. Screening for Pre-eclampsia & Gestational Diabetes
    Detects early signs that can affect both mother and baby if not managed promptly.
